  1. THE GREAT STEEL MYSTERY: (Superman) a man develops a process for making steel 20% stronger and far cheaper. it gets him a promotion in his company and makes him rich but a little under a year after the first construction project with the new steel he declares he is retiring and shortly after that everything made with the new steel starts disappearing. turns out the new process bonds the molecules of the steel so tight that after about a year they break down and the steel dissolves.

  4. THE FATAL ARROW: (Green Arrow) Green arrow is challenged to fire a cursed arrow but it turns out the arrow contains an ancient message that the person who challenged him believes will lead to a roman treasure.
  5. JERRY THE JITTERBUG: (humor strip) Jerry is on the football field when it starts to rain and his mother yells to him saying "no backtalk, do as I say". jerry calls a time-out and runs off the fealed. when the coach asks "what's the idea" Jerry runs back onto the field with an umbrella saying "it's starting to rain and my mom is watching, you know how moms worry".

THE SECRET OF THE STOLEN STATUES: (Wyoming Kid) the Wyoming Kid is delivering some old cavalry horses to a ranch owned by a man obsessed with everything Mexican when he interrupts a train robbery. the bandits get away with one of two packages going to the same man the horses are being delivered to. both contain small Mexican statues that aren't worth much but it turns out one of the statues in the package left behind hides a map to a lost Spanish treasure train.
