Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed story now in comics!

Fresh out of jail, Shadow Moon finds himself recruited as a bodyguard for the enigmatic Mr. Wednesday, only to be interrupted and kidnapped by the dangerous Technical Boy, who wants answers as to Wednesday’s plans.

The Hugo, Bram Stoker, Locus, World Fantasy, and Nebula award–winning novel and upcoming Starz television series by Neil Gaiman is adapted as a comic series for the first time!

A Starz TV show by Bryan Fuller (NBC’s Hannibal) based on the novel will debut this spring.

Shadow is drinking with Mr. Wednesday when Mad Sweeny joins them. Mad Sweeny shows Shadow a coin trick and Shadow agrees to take Mr. Wednesday as his body guard. After drinking Mad Sweeny and Shadow get in a fist fight and Shadow blacks out.

He later wakes up in Mr. Wednesday car on the was to Laura funeral where he learns that Laura was cheating on him with his best friend. Then after the funeral Shadow is abducted by a strange man in limo who threatens him but lets him out at the America Motel.
