Even as the Conspiracy of Eight prepares to assassinate Lord Noriyuki, the Heike crabs (reincarnated souls of dead imperial loyalists) scour the sea bottom in search of Grasscutter, the sword of the Gods that will restore the Emperor to power. Usagi Yojimbo is about to walk into the middle of a war that he never could have expected, and that he could never turn his back on.
