After Angela and Spawn are trapped in hell they stumble upon a small demon named Smut who agrees to lead them through the circles to their freedom. Angela returns to Heaven to find her friends Kuan Yin, Anahita and Callindra have built a case to prove that Gabrielle had been conspiring to set up and imprison her on charges of treason.
