It’s the Savage Dragon/Ant crossover from a whole different perspective. Ant travels to Chicago to recruit Malcolm Dragon for her upcoming battle against the forces of evil! Ant comes with our highest possible recommendation.

Ant finds her former sidekick, Gadget Man, being attacked by Coldburn, and jumps in to help. She kicks out one of his teeth, but he winds up freezing her wrist, breaking off her hand, and then trapping her in ice.

When she wakes up, The Mind Drainer attempts to fry her brain, but Gadget Man makes a couple of gadgets on the fly that defeat Mind Drainer. Once he and Hannah are back at her apartment, he gives her the info dump on what's happening, and tells her that she can form a replacement hand from her suit until her real hand can be tracked down.

She tracks down Malcolm Dragon to solicit his help, but he refused due to his work and family obligations. They are then attacked by the queen of the creatures Dragon had been fighting when she showed up, and Ant is knocked unconscious.
