'THE HAUNTING OF HERNESBURG'-Bumbling monster hunters Ridley and Falstaff are hot on the trail of their nemesis, the mysterious sorcerer Orlok. The trail leads them to the town of Hernesburg, where the heroes are asked to dispose of a lurking evil in the woods...only because the town's own hunter has turned up dead!

The adventure starts with Mortimer Ridley and his sidekick Falstaff (though, both have “sidekick” personalities) as they travel from cemetery to cemetery slaying the undead. The two goofy slayers are actually working for a spirit named Lear who has tasked them to find a particular supernatural being, not necessarily a vampire. Readers get a glimpse of a cloaked being but there’s also a mysterious stag creature; either could be the target that Lear intends for the duo to track.
