Isis, the witch, gives Kevin Matchstick, Joe Phat, and Kirby Hero a magic drug that gives them a vision of who is behind the mysterious gatherings they have noticed among the forces of darkness.  Their vision is interrupted by an attack of the Sprigginflints.  They force them to fly off, but Bartholomew Gretch is hurt.  Kevin is able to restore him with his Bat.  The heroes decide to go north to find the source of the evil.
 
Wally Ut chases them on his bicycle, but lags far behind.
