Plague is spreading, wiping out an entire city while its dying ruler has taken what no human should possess: Hellspawn Necroplasm. What abomination will erupt when the Necroplasm intermingles with the flesh of a dead holy man? Far away, an old "friend" has returned to Covenant and told him of the catastrophe.
