Stormwatch arrives in Hawaii to handle the threat of a creature escaping a volcano, with many explosives, and attempting to destroy the islands. They are able to defeat the creature, who appears to be Maul, but have no way to stop the bomb from detonating. Battalion holds the bomb in his hands and suddenly Timespan arrives to prevent Diva from taking the bomb from him. Timespan disappears in time for the explosion to occur, with Battalion seemingly sacrificing himself in the blast, holding it all together with a psi-shield. Meanwhile, Timespan is attacked by a female named Traveller, who is against Timespan affecting the time stream.
