Maya finds the ground where Alexandra fell, including her grave with crude marker bearing the word "Mercy". Casting a "reenact" spell Maya replays the battle in which Alexandra fell. Getting caught up in the emotions stirred watching the battle replay itself, Makita attacks Maya. She then realizes that she has found the recipient of a latter her father entrusted to her at last.
