Elektra's off to Japan! While there, the assassin meets two of Wolverine's oldest friends, Yukio and young Amiko. Featuring the Silver Samurai!

Elektra travels to Japan seeking the Hand so as to avenge the death of her friend and regain the part of her soul that they took from her. She encounters the Silver Samurai who introduces her to two of Wolverine's acquaintances, his old friend Yukio and his young ward, Amiko. While Yukio helps Elektra by guiding and accompanying her to the Hand's citadel in the valley of Mercy and Wrath, Amiko betrays them and tips the Hand off to their coming.

Despite the Hand's ambush, Yukio and Elektra emerge victorious, but find that the Hand leaders who might hold a portion of Elektra's soul have already left. Fortunately, Yukio knows people who keep track of the Hand's movements, and directs Elektra to Hong Kong.
