The Fantastic Four investigate a strange beam from outer space that is scrawling a huge chasm across the United States. A look from the Landsat depicts the beam's line as alien language, and a quick computer translation reveals that someone (or thing) has written "I CLAIM THIS WORLD - TERMINUS"! No sooner have they read the cryptic message, when the giant extra-terrestrial being appears!
