The Avengers must stop Hulk (under the control of Loki) from destroying the city. He brushes past the Fantastic Four with ease, but then Thor, Captain America and the Avengers return to earth. Thor attacks Hulk but goes easy on him, not wishing to kill him and Captain America goes after Loki once Doc Magnus and the Vizier reveal his position. Captain America destroys Loki's pennant, releasing Hulk from his control at the last minute, just before Thor was going to destroy him.
