Peter Parker goes back to his high school days, to witness the adventure he had on his summer break.

While on summer break Peter Parker flies south to the Peruvian jungle for a research trip. While on a bus on the Nazca Road, something happens and Peter is forced to use his Spider-man powers to save his fellow students. None of the students see him do this, nor do they see him get knocked unconscious and left behind. Peter is surely dead if not for the natives who pick him up and take his unconscious body back to their village.

There Peter meets Taran and her brother. Taran explains they are the Spider Village and they worship the Great Weaver and the River Spiders. She goes on to explain how Faire De Lain and the Snake Clan took over their temple and killed many of the Spider Clan. Taran asks Peter to help them, much like he helped the students on the bus. Peter then dons his Spider-man outfit and goes to the temple.

At the Temple Peter is able to deal with most of the guards but one hits him with at toxic blow dart. This makes Peter weak when he faces Fair De Lain, and Taran and her brother have to come to Peter's rescue but they get captured. Peter is able to defeat Lain and save Taran, and she is able to get the relic she came for. Taran then uses the relic to banish the rest of the Snake Clan from the Temple, and Peter passes out.

When Peter wakes up, Taran explains that the Spider Clan is in control of the area, all thanks to Peter. She then leads Peter to the Nazca Road and kisses him goodbye and points him back to civilization.
