As the Inferno storyline gets under way, the Bogeyman returns from Limbo... as a real Bogeyman! When he takes revenge on Power Pack in front of the kids' parents, it could blow their secret identities forever!

Carmody, who was thrown into Limbo in issue #40 by Ilyana Resputin, is transformed into a real-life demonic Bogeyman, and is sent back to New York to exact his revenge on the Powers.

New York City is boiling hot, there are malfunctions happening with electricity and water, and in the Powers' apartment, all four kids are down with serious illness. Katie hallucinates and think she sees the Bogeyman; he slithers out from under her bed and nearly chokes Julie.

Jim and Margaret Power decide to take their children to their aunt Pauline's house, where it is cooler. As they ride the elevator, the Bogeyman appears and peels back the roof. The kids use their Kymellian healing powers to cure their illness, and are forced to reveal their super powers to their parents.
