Namor gives us a detailed origin story. This chapter finds us post-World War II and Namor is torn between his loyalties to Atlantis and the Surface World. His cousin Byrrah and the warlord Krang make their plays for the throne of Atlantis.
Despite being exiled several times, Namor returns home at his grandfather's request. A romance begins to blossom with Dorma before he is sent on yet another quest for Thakorr. This quest pits him against Paul Destine (Destiny) who is now wielding the Serpent Crown.During the battle, Namors memories are erased.
Amnesiatic, Namor ventures forth into the Surface World in hopes of regaining his lost memories.
