On the planet Shiva IV, the Rebels fight another battle against the Empire that they may not all escape from.
The art in this issue by Carmine Infantino was unused from the recently cancelled John Carter Warlord Of Mars series. Rather than scrap the artwork, Chris Claremont was hired to write a Star Wars story based on it and Walt Simonson added new panels and pages giving it cohesion and more of a "Star Wars" look.
