Synopsis

A man lies dead due to an attack by spiders. What is the connection to Spider-Man? An unusual and "offbeat" mystery that may just leave Spider fans with more questions than answers!

Murder By Spider!

At the beginning of the issue, Spider-Man was irresistibly drawn to a secluded mansion, where the reclusive old man living within died the following day, seemingly attacked by masses of spiders. Further investigations led him to an exquisite apartment building, where a second victim turned up. When the signal that drew Spider-Man to the mansion turned up again, the web-slinger was drawn to the source - a maniacal scientist bent on cashing his talents to control the arthropods.
