The Secret Empire’s true agenda is revealed, leaving both Marvel heroes and villains up for grabs. Which hero has the Empire set their sights on? And will the combined might of Spider-Man, Nova, and Darkhawk be enough to stop the production of more cyborgs?

Spider-Man and Dakhawk save the onlookers from Midnight's attack, though he managed to escape. Luckily, Spider-Man got a tracer onto him before he did. Midnight returns to the Secret Empire with Eliot and is annoyed that they are not more grateful for his work. Meanwhile, Spider-Man asks Captain America to help him get in contact with Moon Knight, and he informs him of Midnight's return. With the Secret Empire wanting to recruit super-powered beings, Midnight approaches Nova, but Spider-Man shows up and they all end up fighting. Again, Midnight escapes with his target, leaving Spidey with the two latecomers--Moon Knight and Night Thrasher.
