After the Hulk is shot at in an airport, he rebuilds his assailant's hometown which Banner destroyed accidentally as the Hulk.

As Bruce Banner and Kate Waynesboro returns from South America, an attempt is made on the doctor's life. He survives by turning into the Hulk, and the assassin is arrested. Late, struggling with his own inner demons, Banner goes to ask the assassin why he hates him. It turns out that the Hulk destroyed his home town and his life. So Banner hires Matt Murdock to get the man released, while he rebuilds Hadleyville.
