The city of Pittsburgh has been completely destroyed and Kenneth Connell is nowhere to be found. Debbie gives birth to their child, but sadly does not survive the delivery. This child is a product of the Star Brand and possesses powers and awareness far beyond those of ordinary men. But, is this child a force of benevolence, or will it be the worse evil the world has ever seen.
