Carnage leaves the Daily Bugle to find Shriek and the Doppelganger, who just happen to find where Spider-man is and attack him and Cloak and Dagger in the Holy Ghost Church. Shriek was then about to kill Cloak when Dagger stepped in to save him, but she was no match and was apparently killed. The Carnage Family then flee the scene. In San Francisco Venom is protecting the innocent when he sees on the news that Carnage is on his rampage, and he realizes that he must return to New York to fight and kill Carnage
