Wolverine's in Japan on a mission of the heart, if he can survive the Hand first! Plus: everyone's favorite riotous ronin, Yukio!

Wolverine awakes, only to be surrounded by The Hand, and with the help of Yukio (the girl who had helped him last issue), defeats them. Unknown to Wolverine, Yukio is working for Lord Shingen as his assassin. Shingen orders Yukio to kill Katsuyori with thwe aid of Wolverine and then to kill him too. At Katsuyori's house are Mariko and her husband Noburu Hideki, and Wolverine reallizes that Katsuyori plans to kill them. Wolverine prevents their assassination, and then Yukio kills Katsuyori and his wife exploding their car. During the fight, Wolverine goes berserk, losing control of himself, killing his opponents. Mariko watches, horrified, as Yukio smiles.
