Aegena is a parallel universe earth, where two antique factions fight for the control of the world: The Protectorate and the Directorate. The soldiers of both factions use justice stones, hybrid symbiotic lifeforms than granted amazing powers.

The superhero called Union originally was Omhen, a soldier of the Protectorate and native from Aegena. He was lost on earth when two enemy soldiers tried to kill him in a dimesional transporter. The Sword of Damocles, an analog to Omhen but is unknown if he is from a similar Aegena or not. What is know is than the Sword knows about Union's Aegena.
