The museum was a favorite haunt for the future Franklin Richards and his girlfriend, Rachel Summers. During the Days of Future Present story arc, Franklin dreams up a reunion with Rachel while being completely oblivious to the Sentinel attack going on around him. That wing of the museum will have seen better days because Franklin finally wakes up to what's happening and completely destroys the Sentinels before leaving the museum.
