Originally Angor was a extra dimensional planet, protected by the Champions of Angor (also known as the Assemblers and the Justifiers). They clashed with the Justice League of America when this world was invaded by the robots of Cam-Nam-Lao. The league and the Champions faced each other in Cam-Nam-Lao where both leave in friendly terms after a brief skirmish.

After the Crisis on Infinite earths, it would be revealed than Angor, now inside of the main universe, was destroyed by a nuclear conflict and only a handful of superbeigns survived. This would later be expanded to reveal other more dangerous survivors: the Extremists, supervillians who destroyed their own planet, leaving only automatons from a theme park as the last remains of their civilization.

After the Infinte Crisis, Angor became defacto the alternate earth of the dimension of Earth-8. The Justifiers became the Meta-Militia.

After Flashpoint, the new earth 8 was called Angor again in the 2017 Justice League of America series, being basically the native equivalent to "Earth", meanwhile the defenders of the world were rebranded as the Retaliators.

Wacky World

Amusement park of Angor. It was the last vestige of that civilization.

Wacky World was an amusement park in the world of Angor. It was the last remains of that world's civilization. It was built by Mitch Wacky, a technological genius, who created a race of thinking robots.

When the super villains group the Extremists caused a nuclear apocalypse in Angor than killed all the people, the park and its robots survived and continued upgrading themselves, perplexed by the absent of human visitors. They also built a cult around his creator. Under the directive to be more wacky, the robots created new attractions than resembled the dead heroes and villains from their world. The copies were so similar then they ended fighting for real, with the androids believing themselves the real deal. The triumphant robotic super villains left the park under the control of Carny and ventured beyond its limits. The real nature of the park was revealed when the Justice League Europe found themselves stranded in Angor threatened to be forever entertained until death.

Originally, it was also a spoof of the Disneyland theme park, including the urban legend of Walt Disney being cryogenically frozen under the park.
