Brentaal (Brental IV due to its posistion around the star Brenta) is the most valuable planet in the galaxy. Because it is situated directly at the intersection of the Perlemian Trade Route and the Hydian Way.  
 
It is a rugged enviroment with a narrow livable band placed between two thick ice caps. The equatorial land is a checkerboard of mesas and wide-open steppes, with settlements packed into the shelter of deep crevasses.
