The Guardians of the Universe alerted Green Lantern to a threat in his space sector on the planet Calor. The Dryg, a creature of terrible size and strength, was spawned in a valley full of exploding volcanoes and was terrorizing the indigenous population. Green Lantern dispatched this creature and returned to his own world.
