After Klaus Kruger died in his defeat against Daredevil the castle was abandoned. Years later Victor VanDoom the great grandson of Ludwig VanDoom occupied the castle working on monstrous serums. The castle was destroyed after Red Hulk threw the American Kaiju into the structure.
