Soon after Superboy signed up with Rex Leech and the real Superman returned from the dead, Superboy was on world tour. When Superboy found out that Tana Moon was a native of Hawaii and was working there, he decided to stay, and so the compound was built. It was home of Superboy and all his friends;, Rex Leech the manager, his daughter Roxy, Dubbilex the Cadmus Alien, his dog Krypto and for a brief time, Knockout. The Compound has a history of breaking down in the series, in almost every issue or mini arc.
