Dreamscape
Where millions of dreamers go every hour. It's a place where people go to relive their pasts, or imagine their future, or when they're missing something from their lives and don't know how to let go. Everyone coming to the Dreamscape needs to know it's a safe place - that's when the Dream Police comes in.

Places in the Dreamscape:
The Dreamscape is a ever-shifting place being constantly and instantly designed and re-designed by the Architects based on the imagination of dreamers - even in their wildest dreams. Some places, though, are always there, somewhere:
- DPD / Dream Police Department's Headquarters
- The Black Files (guarded by Zek, the file-guardian, and his dogs, the biters)
- The Recruitment Office (where Dex Dilby works)
- Mirrors - a Shifter's bar and main transit point.
- Shifty's - a diner; sometimes Italian, Mexican, or Indian.
- The Routing Center - where freshly arrived Dreamers are given their fantasies and dreams.
- The Loop - where all the recurrent dreams are sent to.
- The Darkness - a cold infinite structure at the outer edge and without light.
- The Verge - a vast place beyond the "Zone of Shared Perception" where nobody dares to go and will (probably) never come back from. At the end of the Verge is the wall that separates the Dreamscape from the "waking world".
