The Empire State Building has been used in various pulp magazines and comic books for over a long time. Before the Golden Age of Comic Books, the Empire State Building had a fictional 86th floor that served as a secret headquarters for Doc Savage.
A more iconic scene featuring the Empire State Building was in the climatic fight between King Kong and the airplanes, where the beast was out matched.
The Empire State Building is also the setting for the final showdown in the series Grimm Fairy Tales Presents: Beyond Wonderland. It is where Calie Liddle confronts her brother.
