Exodus
A planet bought by Better-World to colonize for humanity. It was abandoned 11 years into the experiment when the terraforming engine failed. Many of the lower class workers were left behind to fend for themselves.
Origin
In 2152, Planet "F" in the Kepler System was purchased by corporation, Better-World. They renamed it Exodus and started to colonize it seven years later. Part of the effort was to staff a series of wardens. They would be outfitted with a special helmet that connected them to a neural network that would allow them to control the animals imported to the island. This would become an important aspect of terraforming the planet for human sustainability. In 2170, the earth engine failed, and the corporation started an evacuation. They left behind the wardens, promising they would bring the ships back for a second wave of evacuations. As of 2172, there has been no sign Better-World was returning.
Creation
The planet Exodus was first used as a setting for a short story by Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok in the anthology one-shot Ghost Machine #1
Places of Interest

New Mason: A city intended to be a cultural hub for the new residents of Exodus. At its height, it had a population of almost 800 thousand. After the evacuation, Rook was the only resident. The luxury apartments were all named after birds.
The Oasis: The Oasis used to be just a hydroelectric dam, but it had been transformed into a safe haven by Carapace. It was also where Carapace had hidden The Wildlife Grid, the central hub for the neural network that connected all the warden helemets.
The Ark: The Ark was a mobile fortress given to Ursaw by Better-World to aid him in hunting down all the wardens and recovering Better-World's proprietary technology. After Ursaw was rendered comatose, Dire Wolf and Rook took over The Ark to try and unite the wardens,
New Appalachians: A mountain range under which Better-World installed the World Engine.
