Using the Moonstones, Zemo created openings in space, taking patches of real places from the real world, and connected them between folded space.

The Folding Castle was used as a base by Zemo's Thunderbolts and later both Songbird and Zemo's Thunderbolts teams as well as the Thunderbolts Army. Each member's quarters was made just for them, such as Radioactive Man who's quarters resembled a Chinese monastary, and were all connected to the same "hub".
