Overview
Possibly best known as the place where Catwoman first learned that Batman was really Bruce Wayne, this is the central zoo of Gotham City. It is also the birthplace of Joker's sidekick Jackanapes.
Alternate Version
Absolute Batman
In this universe, the Gotham Zoo is where Thomas Wayne is gunned by Joe Chill in front of Bruce and his classmates, during Joe's killing spree. The zoo is then shut down and turned into a memorial for the victims of that day's violence.
