New Venice was hit by a seaquake. Most of the city was submerged underwater. The city was revamped to resemble the Italian city Venice where it took its name. Mayor Lyndon was there when the sea quake hit.  He is currently the mayor. Mayor Lyndon asked Aquaman to helped the city several times. Aquaman took the role of Chief of Police. Queen Mera lived there with Aquaman. An Aquaman museum was built there in his honor. Black Manta tried to blow up the city. Ocean Master attacked and destroyed a great deal of the city. Aquaman decided to move away for fear of endangering it.
