Location Information

Santa Prisca is the birthplace of Bane. Its government is considered a largely corrupt, and the country harbors an active black market.

Creation

Santa Prisca was created by Denny O'Neil in The Question #10 and #11. Vic Sage must travel to the corrupt Caribbean island to rescue his friend and mentor Tot Roder from the crime lord El Beato.

Later, when O'Neil was editor on the Batman titles, the island was used as the setting for the birthplace of villain Bane who was born in Pena Duro prison.
