It was ruled for some time by the despotic J-Son, until an unintended media broadcast showed the populace how little their ruler thought of them. J-Son was literally chased out of his castle by angry citizens.

Later, the entire planet's population was put in biological stasis as a ploy by the Brood in order to breed more of their kind. A combined force of X-Men, Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy managed to save the planet with no casualties. The Brood were destroyed.
