Human/Robot relations were already shaky when Arno Stark successfully ousted his half-brother Tony out of his own company for being a robot double of the late Tony Stark. The persecution of robots got worse and worse as Arno and Sunset Bain started treating them as property instead of sentient beings. As a result, Tony, now going as Mark One, created a hard light hideout for robots called The Thirteen Floor that can be accessed from any elevator in New York.
