The Tower of Wisdom was built by the Inhumans of Attilan as a home for their philosophical order of monks. Karnak was raised at this order after his parents refused to expose him to Terrigen Mists, he is currently the Magister like his father was before him.

After the explosion of the Terrigen Bomb and the rapid spread of Nuhumans, the Tower of Wisdom has started accepting people who struggle with their Terrigenesis to teach them both mental and physical control.
