Willowwood Home for Children
A sanitarium for the mentally ill outside of Gotham City. With its primary funders being the Wayne Family, it fell from grace in the years following their deaths and was shut down for abuse and neglect towards its patients.

Years ago Willowwood served as the satellite hospital outside of Gotham for children suffering from mental illness and neurological disorders. It operated until a sinkhole swallowed the orderlies' quarters. Prior to the hospital's closing, the institution had been neglected, perhaps due to a lack of funding by past prominent contributors. At some point in it's history Doctor Simon Hurt had taken over the Asylum.
It is said that Thomas and Martha Wayne had an infant that suffered from severe trauma after a car accident and the child was brought to Willowwood. There are no records to prove this.
