A cosmic rock that fell to Earth some eons ago and was eventually unearthed by Dr. Elton Morrow in the antarctic. During an attack by a Nazi raiding party the diamond like mineral was shattered inside of its airtight casing, causing fragments of which to embed within his body. Strengthening his physiological structure into something more than mere flesh & bone.
