Overview

The provenance of the Book of Shadows is unclear; it may have been provided to the Submissionaries of Limbo Town by Melmoth just before they descended deep below the Earth. Constructed with iron pages, it has no words. Instead, the Submissionaries bleed on the book and interpret the blood stains as commands from the witch-god Croatoan. The Book of Shadows provides all the prescripts of witch-people society.
