A staff (sometimes made out of promethium) that can also discharge an energy blast (strong enough to destroy aircraft, and even injure powerful metahumans). Lately, he has been shown to be able to separate his staff into two nightsticks as well give it added lethality with dagger edges at each point. In conjunction with his sword, he can use absorbed energy to boost it's blaster range.
Many of the improvements to it were designed by Squirrel for Slade.
