Overview
The Dracula Virus was a type of flu engineered by Cadiratra, wife of Vlad Drachül. She used it to infect Drachül’s victims, thus poisoning him as he drank their blood.
In creating the Dracula Virus, Cadiratra created the vehicle for his resurrection - a mystic virion containing Drachül’s essence. When she attempted to destroy the viral sample, she accidentally released it into the atmosphere, leading to the infection of thousands.
Those infected with the virus have been hunted down over the years. Matt Ecsed is thought to be the last carrier.
