Ever-Ware

Ever-Ware

The Ever-Ware is a timeless piece of technology based off of T.O. Morrow's Future Set. It was built by robots who had been left behind on Oolong Island and was discovered by David Magnus (Veridium) and has since been upgraded. It can transport the user through time and steal technology (and people) from throughout the time stream.

Creation

The Ever-Ware is based off of the designs of T.O. Morrow's Future Set in an attempt to create a more advanced time-based device. Morrow had begun building the Ever-Ware while on Oolong Island during the events of 52; however, he abandoned it when he left the island as he was unable to perfect it. In Morrow's absence the androids that were still left on Oolong Island took it upon themselves to complete the creation.

The Ever-Ware was then found by David Magnus (Veridium) who stole the device in an attempt to alert the heroes of the DCU about what was happening on Oolong Island. It was still an incomplete device thus it didn't work as planned and it sent David Magnus through time. Magnus was forced to modify the device and was able to get it in working conditions.

It also appears as if T.O. Morrow had begun building a newer version of the Ever-Ware in his home laboratory after leaving Oolong Island; as he was on his way to work on his Ever-Ware when found by Will Magnus.

Design

The device itself is a futuristic looking chair surrounded by a floating platform and a wide variety of different screens. It also features a large helmet that the user wears in order to interact with the machine and it's functions.

Functions

The function of the Ever-Ware is to travel through time. It utilizes the technology from T.O. Morrow's Future Set; thus granting the user the ability to see through time and pluck objects/people from the time stream using a 4th dimensional grappling hook.

Before it was modified by Magnus it was unable to pinpoint specific locations in time, thus sending the user through time against their control. After it's modifications it was shown to be much more precise as David has used it to follow Will through time & even steal the pipe his father gave to him (Will) and replacing Will's pipe with a tracking device.
