Overview

The Flame gun is an unusual weapon especially for the late 1930's when the Flame started using it.  It is a hand flame thrower that shoots out a tremendous amount of fire for long distances.  He has shot him flame pistol across several city blocks and even shot it from a shipwreck on the bottom of a river to the bridge the crossed the river.  When the Flame shoots the fire from this gun he has the ability to control the fire and even run on the stream of fire he created with it.
