Overview

It's scientific name is 'Gallus Sapadillo'. At one point in time, the gallsaberry began to grow wild on the mountain plains of Yamapalu. The farming of the gallsaberry has almost overtaken tourism as the primary industry on the small island nation. Once an island known for its liberal policy regarding the ownership, cultivation and consumption of chicken, the government of Yamapalu instituted laws mirroring the poultry prohibition enacted and enforced by the United States of America.

Gallus Sapadillo is a fruit unique to the island of Yamapalu. The meat of this fruit tastes remarkably like chicken. In fact, when it is cooked, it tastes exactly like chicken.
