To eradicate all divine beings in one fell stretch, Gorr enslaved thousands upon thousands of gods from all over the universe and forced them, for over 900 years, to build a massive structure called the Godbomb: a weapon whose detonation would reverberate through time and eliminate all gods from the beginning of the universe till the very end. The Godbomb was designed by Shadrak, the Oghoghoan god of bombs and fireballs, with the heart of a slain Elder God at its core, and infused with the chronomancy of the Time Lords of Chronux.
