This armor was built by Tony Stark during the time when Thor tried to take over all of Earth. This armor is powered by asgardian power source given to him by Thor. However Thor easily beat this armor and ripped out the power source.

• A variant of the Thorbuster armor appears in the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode "A Day Unlike Any Other." After being stranded on Nidavellir without his armor, Tony Stark partners with a group of Dwarven blacksmiths to craft a new Iron Man suit made from uru metal. He uses this new suit during the final battle against Loki, where he fights alongside the other Avengers. In the second season episode "The Private War of Doctor Doom," Tony mentions that he was forced to relinquish the armor to Eitri as part of an agreement he'd made to have it forged in the first place.

Merchandise

• The Thorbuster armor was featured in the Marvel Legends line as part of the M.O.D.O.K. Build-a-Figure wave, the fifteenth and final series under ToyBiz before the license transferred to Hasbro. A variant depicting the Destroyer was also released.
• The Thorbuster armor was featured in the HeroClix figure game.
• The Thorbuster armor was featured in Hasbro's Super Hero Squad line as part of a two-pack with Thor.
